A clear view of your operation

Prepare the product before it moves.

The journey of fresh fruit and vegetables starts at the packhouse. Variety, maturity and shelf life help determine air freight or refrigerated ocean transport. We coordinate packaging, the required dispatch temperature and connections with the exporter, providers and recipient.

    What to keep in mind

01Information to get started

Have these details ready.

  • Species, variety, presentation and conditions defined by the product owner.
  • Required temperature, ventilation and humidity specifications, where applicable.
  • Packing date, remaining shelf life and the buyer’s receiving window.
  • Quantity and dimensions of cartons and pallets; net and gross weight per unit.
  • Destination country and the status of exporter, supplier and packhouse registration and documentation.

02Service scope

What we can coordinate.

  • Review of commercial presentation, export cartons and pallet configuration.
  • Coordination of pre-cooling and handover temperature according to the product.
  • Enquiries for air capacity or reefer equipment and handling services at transfer points.
  • Organization of milestones between packhouse, inspection, terminal and final receiving.
  • Definition of contacts and the scope of temperature records available from each operator.

03Before confirming

A clear scope, from the start.

The temperature plan is product-specific: a reefer does not replace prior conditioning. Carton design and stacking must support the required airflow; wrapping the entire pallet in film can obstruct it. Operators, equipment and cold-chain scope are confirmed before shipment, alongside destination requirements and applicable ICA procedures.
